Check out the many Seattle area attractions

The Space Needle
A 41-second elevator ride takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle, built for the 1962 World's Fair. Don't worry about trying to squeeze this one into your schedule. We'll be here on Friday night for the IFPA annual banquet.
Pike Place Fish Market
The Pike Place Market is the oldest continually operating farmers market in the United States, it is a place where farmers, craftspeople, and artists display their goods. It is a free-form funhouse of sights, smells, sounds, and characters. Salmon fly through the air, and vegetable and flower displays are turned into works of art.

Seattle Waterfront
Seattle has one of the most magnificent, awe-inspiring seaports in the world. The views are spectacular; the popular Summer Nights at the Pier concerts play at sublime Pier 62/63. The Seattle Aquarium, the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center are also here. The old streetcar clangs along the length of the waterfront, and the green spaces of Myrtle Edwards Park take over from the concrete mayhem at the northern end.
Seattle Aquarium
Listen to the calls of the northwest's orca whales. Stand within a circle of glowing jellyfish. Run your fingers along a sea anemone's soft tentacles. Delight in the antics of the sea otters. Then come back for another visit - and an entirely different experience. The Seattle Aquarium is currently remodeling part of the building and expanding. The expansion is due to open early summer of 2007 and will include a new Window on Washington Waters exhibit - a 120,000 gallon exhibit featuring animals from the coast of Washington.

Experience Music Project
Experience Music Project (EMP) is dedicated to the exploration of creativity and innovation in popular music. By blending interpretative, interactive exhibition with cutting-edge technology, EMP captures and reflects the essence of rock 'n' roll, its roots in jazz, soul, gospel, country and the blues, as well as rock's influence on hip-hop, punk and other recent genres. Visitors can view rare artifacts and memorabilia and experience the creative process by listening to musicians tell their own stories. EMP|SFM is housed in a 140,000 square foot Frank O. Gehry-designed building. This spectacular, prominently visible structure has the presence of a monumental sculpture set amid the backdrop of the Seattle Center.
Seattle Underground Tour
Visit the spooky city that lies beneath Seattle's present street level where you'll learn how the Underground was created. The subterranean walkways are dry, but the history sure isn't! Learn about Seattle's very colorful past; how our Founding Fathers' squabbling led to Seattle's complicated street system, and how the solutions to our unique plumbing problems affected the town's elevation.
Seattle Monorail
The Seattle Center Monorail is the nation's first full-scale commercial monorail system. It is a favorite part of the Seattle skyline and provides a fun, quick and convenient link from downtown Seattle to Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, the Experience Music Project, and a host of theatrical and cultural experiences.
